I provide professional interpreting services for German and English backed up by several years of experience and training from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. This training gave me the basis for understanding the role of the interpreter and developing the necessary language sensitivity and people skills to help you interact effectively with people who don’t speak the same language. Currently, I offer the following types of interpreting: consecutive, ad hoc and escort.

In consecutive interpreting, the speaker pauses every couple of minutes to allow the interpreter to relay what has been said to the listeners.

Here, an interpreter accompanies a person or a delegation on a tour or visit, or to a meeting or interview.

Ad hoc:
Ad-hoc interpreting is suited to meetings or visits where small groups are involved. This is the most informal type of interpreting.
